๐ŸŒŸ What would your mission be?

Develop and validate flight control systems and simulation models for unmanned aircraft, supporting the design, tuning, and verification of safety-critical avionics from simulation through real-world testing.


You will work with aircraft dynamics and control models to ensure accurate, robust, and reliable behavior before their integration into UAV and eVTOL platforms.


๐Ÿ’ก Which will be your responsibilities?

  • Develop flight dynamics and simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink for UAV and eVTOL platforms.
  • Develop, analyze, and tune flight control systems and control laws, including gain tuning and parameter optimization.
  • Model key aircraft dynamics, including aerodynamics, propulsion, actuators, and sensors.
  • Integrate simulation models with Veronte Autopilot to validate complete flight control systems.
  • Perform SIL and HIL simulations for verification, validation, and system integration.
  • Validate and improve models and control strategies using ground and flight test data.
  • Support flight control integration and testing on real aircraft.
  • Document models, test results, and validation activities to ensure traceability in a safety-critical environment.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • High level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong knowledge of flight mechanics, aircraft dynamics, and control systems.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, or control development.
  • Knowledge of control theory, stability, system dynamics, and control tuning.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and physics.
  • Programming skills in Python, C, or C++.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex engineering problems.

  • Experience with UAVs, RPAS, eVTOLs, or autonomous aircraft.
  • Experience with SIL, HIL, and real-time simulation.
  • Experience developing or tuning flight control laws.
  • Knowledge of aerodynamic and aircraft dynamics modeling.
  • Experience analyzing flight test data and telemetry.
  • Experience integrating autopilots, sensors, actuators, or avionics systems.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical aerospace standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A/B, or ARP4761.
